Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri P.K. Tripathi. This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) Issue an order or direction, directing the respondent No.9 to decide the Case No.T20170311137017325 (Shai Kumari and another Vs. State of U.P. and others) pending before him under Section 144 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 Mauja Jeora, Nawabganj, Kanpur Nagar for declaration of petitioners as Sankramaniya Bhumidhar-tenure holders having transferable right of Arazi No. 186 of an area 7 Biswa of Village Jeora, Nawabganj, Pargana and District Kanpur Nagar, being in possession on inheritance from their ancestors, otherwise the Petitioners-Applicants as clearly as possible."
It is stated that a declaratory suit filed by the petitioner in the year 2016 has not been decided till date.
Counsel for the parties admit that only the written statement has been filed but issues have not been framed till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 9 to decide the suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eighteen months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
