RESPONDENTS ORDER:
The petitioner filed this writ petition seeking to cancel the pattedar passbooks said to have been issued to some of the third parties relating to the land in his possession. The petitioner herein filed an application before the Tahsildar, the 4th respondent herein, who in turn directed the petitioner to approach the superior authority. Hence the petitioner made a representation to the District Collector Kadapa District, the 2nd respondent herein on 10.11.2014. Aggrieved by the inaction of the 2nd respondent, the present writ petition is filed.
In my considered view, this writ petition is misconceived. In as much as the petitioner has to avail the remedy available under the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattedar Passbooks Act by approaching the appropriate authority, who is competent to go into the question as to whether the pattedar passbooks are granted in accordance with law or not, and raise all his contentions there.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
