JUDGMENT / ORDER

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT HYDERABAD FOR THE STATE OF TELANGANA & THE STATE OF ANDHRA PRADESH (Special Original Jurisdiction) FRIDAY, THE TWENTY SIXTH DAY OF DECEMBER TWO THOUSAND AND FOURTEEN PRESENT THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No. 39097 of 2014 BETWEEN Shaik Chand Basha AND ... PETITIONER The State of Andhra Pradesh, rep. by its Principal Secretary, Home Department, Hyderabad and others.
...RESPONDENTS The Court made the following:
ORDER:
Heard.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that in spite of his complaints, dated 30.06.2014 and 04.08.2014 and in spite of endorsement by the Superintendent of Police, Kadapa, respondent No.3 has not registered the crime and taken up investigation.
3. Instructions of the learned Government Pleader, however, show that the contents of the complaint and the endorsement of S.P. in C.C.C.No.1267/2014 and 1622/2014 were received by respondent No.3 police station and based on that crime No.149 of 2014 was registered on 21.12.2014 and investigation is taken up.
4. Since the crime is already registered and investigation is taken up, it is appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing respondent No.3 to complete the investigation and take appropriate further steps expeditiously in accordance with law.
With the above direction, writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
