The petitioner was aggrieved by the action of the respondent- authorities in interfering with her property in Sy.No.1912, Nirmal, Adilabad District, without following the due procedure laid down by law.
2. This Court, by order dated 24.03.2004, directed status-quo existing as on that day to be maintained and the said order was extended thereafter until further orders on 06.04.2004.
3. Despite the lapse of 10 years, the respondent-authorities have not chosen to file a counter.
4. As the grievance of the petitioner was with regard to the alleged failure on the part of the respondent-authorities in following the due procedure and as the petitioner has filed documentary evidence in proof of her possession over the subject property, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent-authorities not to interfere with the rights and possession of the petitioner in respect of the subject property, except in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
