Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; the learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents 1 to 3; and perused the record.
The prayer in this petition is to command the respondents not to harass/arrest the petitioners only because they are in a live in relationship.
It has not been disclosed specifically in any of the paragraphs of the petition that on any given date and time any untoward incident occurred of which first information report has been lodged.
Under the circumstances, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by giving liberty to the petitioners to represent their cause to the Senior Superintendent of Police of the district concerned, where ever the petitioners are residing, in case of any incident generating an apprehension to their life and liberty. If any such representation is filed, the same shall be addressed in accordance with law.
