Petitioner was granted compassionate appointment in the employment of respondents on 28.9.2010. It appears that a First Information Report was lodged against petitioner on 27th June, 2017, and he was incarcerated in jail. As he remained in jail, he could not work and salary therefore has not been paid to him from July, 2017. It is asserted by the petitioner that he has been acquitted on 11.4.2019 but the authorities are not permitting him to resume work nor he is being paid salary. It is also submitted that petitioner is regularly visiting the respondents but he is not being allowed to work.
Learned counsel for the respondents states that petitioner's grievance shall be examined by the authority competent, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, noticed above, it would be appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction upon the respondent no.3 to accord consideration to petitioner's claim, as noticed above, in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of three months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
Writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of.
