Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
By this petition, the petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-
"I. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus direct the respondent no.2 to take appropriate decision on the application dated 6.8.2019 and 13.4.2021 filed by the petitioner pending before him.
II. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents authorities to grant benefit to the petitioner under the scheme of Mukhyamantri Kisan avam Sarvahit Bima..."
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that petitioner is entitled to the benefit under the scheme of Mukhyamantri Kisan avam Sarvahit Bima. But, his applications dated 6.8.2011 and 13.4.2021 made in that behalf are still pending considerations.
Regard being had the facts and submissions, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2 to look into the applications of the petitioners dated 6.8.2011 and 13.4.2021 and decided in accordance with law expeditiously.
It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case and it is the respondent no.2 to decide the claim of the petitioners in accordance with law.
