This petition for writ is preferred to have a direction for respondent nos.2 and 3 to conclude the investigation in Case Crime No.95 of 2018 pending investigation at Police Station Kotwali, District Pilibhit pertaining to the offence under Sections 376, 504, 506 and 120B IPC.
From perusal of the facts stated in the writ petition and the document annexed thereon reveals that the statement of the petitioner as per the provision of Section 164 Cr.P.C. has already been drawn on 7th March, 2018. Learned AGA also states that as per the averments stated the investigation in the matter is in progress.
Be that as it may, looking to the nature of accusation, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the Station House Officer, Police Station Kotwali, District Pilibhit to expedite the investigation in the matter and to complete the same as early as possible. A police report shall also be filed before the court competent at earliest possible within a period of two months from the date the petitioner presents a certified copy before the Station House Officer.
