The compliance report filed today is taken on record.
It is stated therein that the Investigating Officer has conducted raid at the houses of the accused and suspected persons and enquired from those persons but no complete information could be received regarding their whereabouts. However, the statement of complainant under section 161 Cr.P.C. has been recorded.
It is then submitted that the Investigating Officer shall make all endeavours to conclude the investigation at the earliest.
In view of the above, we do not find any reason to keep the writ petition pending. The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the Investigating Officer shall make all endeavour to conclude the investigation at the earliest, preferably within a period of four weeks from today by following the strict procedure of law.
