JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner who was working as Part Time Sweeper in the College of Engineering affiliated to the first respondent alleges that she worked for more than five years from 13.9.2001 to 10.11.2006. According to her, similarly placed persons have been reinstated in service as evident from Ext.P1 judgment rendered by this Court. Therefore, she is seeking a direction for similar treatment.
2. This was opposed by the respondents on the ground that the petitioner was only a temporary appointee and she is not entitled to get regular appointment.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, per contra, submitted that Ext.P4 representation submitted by the petitioner is still pending before the Government. Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of directing WP(C).18510/11 -:2:-
the respondent concerned to pass appropriate orders on Ext.P4 representation taking into account the observations made by this Court in Ext.P1 judgment after affording the petitioner an opportunity of being heard. This exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
