Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition reads thus:
"To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned F.I.R. dated 30.06.2017 bearing Case Crime no. 133 of 2017 under Section 498-A, 323, 506 I.P.C. and 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Kotwali, District Varanasi, (Annexure No. 1 to this writ petition)."
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 bearing no. 03 of 2018 dated 27.01.2018, and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
