Heard learned counsel for the applicant.
From a perusal of the order sheet it is evident that the disposal of the Election Petition has not occurred on account of the fact that on numerous occasions the matter was adjourned on account of the lawyers abstaining from work. In view thereof, this Court does not find sufficient ground to hold the opposite party in contempt.
The petition is therefore disposed of with the observation that the competent authority before whom the Election Petition is pending shall ensure its disposal with expedition and without granting any unnecessary adjournments.
