JUDGMENT / ORDER

[Order of the Court by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] Heard Mr.J.Lawrance, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Muruganantham, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials produced.
2. The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to issue a community certificate to the petitioner as Muslim Lebai Backward Class by cancelling her earlier community certificate as Hindu Thuluva Vellalar Backward Class, based on her application dated 31.12.2012, within a stipulated time.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent submitted that a reasonable time may be granted to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation.
4. In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the petitioner's entitlement, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations, dated 07.09.2012 and 31.12.2012, within a period of eight weeks from the date receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The petitioner is directed to enclose a copy of those representations along with a copy of this order and forward the same to the respondent for due compliance.
6. The writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
