JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner is the accused in S.C. No.458/2012 of Principal Sessions Court, Kollam. Offences alleged are under sections 447 and 354 of IPC and section 3(1)(xi) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was earlier granted bail, but subsequently he had to leave for gulf seeking employment and that was why he could not be present in court when summons was issued to him. He reached the native place recently. It is stated that warrant is pending against him.

3. It is for the petitioner to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge and convince that Court as to the reasons for his absence. The learned Sessions Judge will dispose of the bail application without delay.
