1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
2. This petition has been filed praying for a direction to the police authorities to give protection to the petitioners as they have married out of their own sweet will.
3. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner no.1 was born on 1.1.2000 and petitioner no.2 was born on 1.1.1994 and both the petitioners are major and they have married out of their own sweet will on 27.9.2019. Their Marriage Certificate has also been filed as Annexure-4 to the petition. Since the petitioners have married against their parents wishes, they are being harassed by the family members. Hence this writ petition.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to approach the S.H.O., P.S- Anwala, District Bareilly, who shall extend all help and protection to them under the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
