JUDGMENT / ORDER

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C. 2. Petitioner is the 4th accused in Crime No.271/CR/OCW-III/PKD/2013 of CBCID, Palakkad for the offences punishable under Sections 489B and 489C read with Section 34 IPC.
3. On 24.05.2013 at 8.20 a.m., 6 numbers of fake Indian currency notes of the denomination of ₹500/- were handed over to the CSK Petronet Petrol Pump, Akalad. The same were seized from the petrol bunk by the police at 4 p.m. The investigation revealed the involvement of A2, A3 and A4 and consequently, A2, A3 and A5 were arrested. It is alleged that A4 had absconded and went to Dubai for evading arrest.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and BA.6495/2014 : 2 :
learned Public Prosecutor and perused the CD.
5. The contents of the CD, prima facie, reveal the complicity of the petitioner. It is alleged that the Sub Inspector of Police had conducted a search at the house of A4, from where 7 fake Indian currency notes of the denomination of ₹500/- were seized. It has also come out that it was from A5, the petitioner had received the fake currency notes. The investigation has a long way to go. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the present stage of investigation, I am of the view that this is not a fit case wherein anticipatory bail can be granted to the petitioner.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
