Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. M. Asthana, who appears for the respondents.
It is the case of the petitioner that she is the widow of Noor Alam/ Noor Mohammad, who was working with the Nagar Nigam Kanpur as chowkidar. He died on 12.07.2017. The petitioner made an application for being appointed on compassionate grounds, thereafter. Such application has not been considered till date. A copy of the application dated 28.04.2018 has been filed as Annexure-3 to the writ petition.
Without entering into the merits of the controversy, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.1 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
