Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
Present writ petition has been filed for a direction upon respondent No.2 to transfer of Rifle No.21332 of her husband in the name of petitioner.
The case for petitioner is that petitioner wants to transfer the license in her name because the husband of the petitioner died on 01.08.2010. She has moved an application before the District Magistrate for transfer of Rifle No.21332 in her name but the same has not been decided.
Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2, District Magistrate, Allahabad to decide, if any, application has been filed by the petitioner in the office of District Magistrate, Allahabad as claimed by her, the same may be decided within 3 months from the production of certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the case on merits.
