JUDGMENT / ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
2. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioners, in the present writ petition, is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has submitted that it would suffice if the petitioners are permitted to make a representation to the respondent, with regard to the reliefs sought for in the writ petition and if the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.
3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the petitioners are permitted to make a representation to the respondent, with regard to the reliefs sought for in the writ petition, within a period of fifteen days from today and on receipt of such representation, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks thereafter.
With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
