Petitioner has retired from the post of Assistant Teacher on 31.03.2017 and his grievance is that his retiral benefits have not been released so far. It appears that the petitioner had earlier approached this Court by filing Writ A No. 31977 of 2017, which came to be disposed of with a direction upon the authorities concerned to take an appropriate decision in the matter.
The Deputy Director of Education, Meerut appears to have already issued a direction on 20.11.2017, but it appears that no consequential action has been taken so far. Grievance is that petitioner's retiral benefits have not been processed and released so far.
It is unfortunate that despite expiry of one and a half years, the authorities have not processed petitioner's claim for release of retiral benefits so far. The District Inspector of Schools, Baghpat is, therefore, directed to file his personal affidavit clarifying as to why the claim of the petitioner for release of retiral benefits has not been processed and finalized so far and why his personal responsibility be not fixed in the matter. Personal affidavit shall be filed by the next date fixed, failing which the Officer concerned shall personally remain present before this Court.
List on 15.11.2018 amongst top five cases in the cause list. Liberty stands reserved to the petitioner to make mention for the case to be taken up on that date.
