Petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C.
2. Petitioner is the 2nd accused in Crime No.212/2013 of the Vandiperiyar Police Station, Idukki presently pending investigation as Crime No.19/CR/14 of CBCID, HHW II Kottayam Sub unit.
3. It is alleged that A1 had illicit connections with the mother of deceased Siva aged 17 and deceased Bhagavathy aged 11. It is alleged that the said two boys happened to see their mother in a compromising position with A1. They reacted, and reacted heavily. A1 decided to do away with the children. He procured the assistance of the petitioner and purchased petrol. A1 poured petrol on the B.A.No. 8461 of 2014 -: 2 :-
said two young boys, while they were sleeping. A1 ignited and set fire on them. The charred bodies of the young boys were later recovered. Petitioner has been in custody for the period from 05.11.2014 onwards.
4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Senior Public Prosecutor. Perused the C.D.
5. The contents of the CD, prima facie, reveal the complicity of the petitioner. The allegations against the petitioner are very grave and serious. Investigation of this case is not over. Considering the seriousness of the allegations against the petitioner and the present stage of investigation, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled to be enlarged on bail.
In the result, this Bail Application is dismissed.
