JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner for quashing the cognizance of the case, dated 07.09.2010 in C.C.No.3815 of 2010, on the file of the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.
2. Initially this Court has admitted the case, notice was ordered to the respondent and the respondent also appeared through his Advocate.
3. When the matter has been taken up today (14.03.2017) for final disposal, the learned counsel Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, appearing for the petitioner informed this Court that the petitioner was died and praying this Court to dismiss the petition as abated. Recording the said submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as abated. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
