[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] Challenge is made to the order of detention passed by the first respondent vide Proceedings in Cr.M.P.No.30/G/2016(E1) dated 19.10.2016, whereby the detenu, namely Praveen Kumar, S/o Selvakumar, aged about 27 years, was ordered to be detained under GOONDA as contemplated Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the first respondent as against the petitioner dated 19.10.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O. Rt. No.6103, HOME, PROHIBITION & EXCISE (XII) DEPARTMENT, dated 02.12.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous.
