THIS CRIMINAL PETITION COMING ON FOR ‘ADMISSION’ THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER Heard Sri.M.S.Rajendra Prasad, learned Senior counsel for the petitioners.
2. This Court on 26.09.2019 had recorded the filing of charge sheet on 12.04.2016.
3 Learned Senior counsel would submit that in view of the said fact, the petitioners may be permitted to withdraw the petition with liberty to challenge the charge sheet or to seek for discharge. Learned Senior counsel would also submit that in the alternative, the trial Court may be directed to expedite the hearing and disposal of the case.
4. Submission of the learned Senior counsel is placed on record.
Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Further, the trial Court is directed to expedite the hearing and disposal of the case. At any rate, the trial Court shall endeavour to complete the hearing and pass a judgment in the case within an outer limit of one year from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
