JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to relax the bail condition imposed on the petitioner by order dated 03.10.2016 in CMP.No.952/2016 on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruppur.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was arrayed as A1 in a case in Crime No.3 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 120B, 347, 364A and 368 IPC. Pursuant to the same, he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.06.2016. Hence, he filed a petition in CMP.No.952 of 2016 before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruppur. By order dated 03.10.2016, the petitioner was directed to be released on bail on executing a bond for Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for a like sum with condition to stay at Coimbatore and report before the Deputy Superintendent of Police, CBCID (OCU), Coimbatore City daily at 10.00am and 6.00pm until further orders. Accordingly, the petitioner has been regularly complying with the said condition. While so, he has filed a petition in CMP No.49 of 2017 seeking relaxation of the condition, which was by order dated 02.02.2017, dismissed. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent, who has no serious objection in relaxing the bail condition imposed on the petitioner.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that the petitioner has been regularly complying with the bail conditions, this Court is inclined to relax the condition imposed on the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, by relaxing the condition that “the petitioner shall stay at Coimbatore and report before the DSP CBCID (OCU), Coimbatore City daily at 10.00am and 6.00pm until further orders” as follows:
“The petitioner shall report before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruppur once in 15 days until further orders”.
