The petitioner holds a regular permit, to conduct service, on the route Pothanikadu-Ernakulam, which regular permit expired on 04.07.2014. The petitioner had applied for renewal, which is pending consideration. After the expiry of the validity of the regular permit the service is being conducted on the strength of a temporary permit of 20 days duration each and the last of such temporary permit issued to the petitioner is valid till 02.11.2014 and the petitioner made an application for re-issue of the temporary permit of four months duration, by Ext.P3. Though the said application has been made on 24.10.2014, it is submitted that no steps are taken and the temporary permit already obtained is expired. 2. In such circumstances, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider Ext.P3 application of the petitioner and issue temporary permit of four WPC.No.28824/2014 : 2 :
months duration, pending consideration of renewal application, within a period of one week from today.
Writ petition is disposed of as above.
