This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief :
“ … to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare the action of the respondents in not considering the representation dt. 29.9.2014 submitted by the petitioners for allotment of the road margin land which is in their possession since the year 1984 onwards, as being illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents herein to allot the road margin located at Phase-I, Autonagar, Nellore …”
On 13-11-2014, the case was adjourned at the request of the learned Counsel for the petitioners. Today, when the case is called, no one represented the petitioners. Hence, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing their cause in the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed for non-prosecution.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.42911 of 2014 is dismissed as infructuous.
