JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay a sum of Rs.10,00,000/-(Rupees ten lakhs only) along with interest at 9% to the Petitioner by way of compensation in the light of the direction issued by the Honourable Supreme Court of India in Safai Karamchari Andolen and others .v.s. Union of India and others(reported in 2014(3) CTC 177) within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.Heard the submissions made by Ms.G.Kavitha, learned counsel for the Petitioner and Mr.R.Vijayarajan, learned counsel for the first respondent and Mr.A.Muthukaruppan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 4 and perused the materials placed before this Court.
3.In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the Petitioner, third respondent was deleted from the cause-title and hence, the Writ Petition as against third respondent stands dismissed.
4.Ms.Kavitha, learned counsel for the Petitioner would fairly submit that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the fourth respondent has already paid Rs.10 lakhs to the Petitioner as compensation.
5.In view of the above said submission, no further adjudication is necessary in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
