Heard learned counsel for the parties.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that against the order of cancellation of patta dated 21.12.2017, petitioners have preferred a revision before the Commissioner, Gorakhpur Division, Gorakhpur as Revision No. 2018050000000/2018, along with a stay application, but the stay application came to be rejected on 24.1.2018, revision now fixed for final disposal on 14.5.2018. He submits that an ad interim order be granted to cut off the standing crops sown by the petitioners.
Learned standing counsel has no objection.
This writ petition is disposed of with the direction that in the event the petitioners file an undertaking before the revisional authority within 2 weeks from today, that they shall cut the standing crop within a month from the plot in dispute and shall also cooperate in the expeditious disposal of the pending revision, no interference / hindrance would be caused by the respondents and the revision itself would be heard and disposed of, as expeditiously as possible.
It is made clear that in the event petitioners do not comply with this order within the stipulated period, as indicated above, this order shall automatically cease to have any effect, without further reference to the Court.
The Court has not commented on the merits of the claim of the petitioners.
