JUDGMENT / ORDER

RAMACHANDRA MENON, J.
Petitioner has approached this Court apprehending threat at the hands of the third respondent. Even though the petitioner made a request before the first and second respondents to grant adequate police protection to his life from the threat of the third respondent, the same was turned down. Hence this writ petition.
2. Perusal of records clearly reveals that there was some financial transaction between the petitioner and the third respondent. It is stated that the petitioner and his wife have already approached the Civil Court at Koyilandi by filing necessary proceedings as O.S.169/2011. Petitioner contends that on the basis of a complaint lodged by him, the police has registered Crime No.492/2014 against the third respondent. The immediate cause of action for petitioner is that, on 21.5.2014, when petitioner reached at District Court, Kozhikode in connection with a civil dispute and the third respondent was also present there, who assaulted, the petitioner. The police is allegedly dancing to the tune of W.P.(C)No.13213 OF 2014 : 2 :
third respondent and it is in the said circumstances, that the intervention of this Court is sought for.
3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the materials available on record.
4. The learned Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents submits that the version of the petitioner is not at all correct. Immediately on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, the matter was enquired into and a Crime has been registered against the third respondent, and that the investigation is going on.
After hearing both sides, this Court finds that this is not a fit case to intervene, as there is no threat to the law and order situation. Writ petition is dismissed accordingly, making it clear that, the first and second respondents shall intervene, if any law and order situation arises warranting necessary action.
