Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
This petition challenges an order of suspension dated 31August 2018.
The sole ground on which the order of suspension has come to be passed is a failure on the part of the petitioner to join at the transferred place. Learned counsel, on instructions, states that the petitioner undertakes to join the place of posting within ten days from today.
Accordingly and in light of the statement so made, the order impugned dated 31 August 2018 is stayed subject to the petitioner complying with the statement recorded hereinabove.
Learned Standing Counsel shall instruct the concerned respondent of the passing of this order and the consequent obligation of the petitioner to join at the place of posting within the period aforementioned.
Learned Standing Counsel may file a reply on this petition within a period of four weeks.
List thereafter.
This order, however, shall not preclude the respondents from proceeding with the enquiry which is contemplated.
