JUDGMENT / ORDER

The matter relates to the custody of a vehicle which was seized by the order the court. After seizure, the vehicle was directed to be handed over to the first respondent before the court below.
2. The petitioner's grievance is that the first respondent is not contesting the matter and in spite of the order, she has not taken the vehicle into her possession and the vehicle is lying idle in the court premises. In fact, according to the petitioner, the order directing the vehicle to be released to the first respondent was a misconceived one and there is an error apparent on the face of records which compelled the petitioner to file a review petition I.A.No. 2364/2014 in I.A.No. 2996/2012 praying for reviewing the earlier order and also handing over the custody of the vehicle to her. That petition has been pending.
O.P.(C) No. 2567 of 2014 -2-
3. The petitioner points out that the delay in disposing of the petition causes irreparable loss and injury to her. The petition now stands posted to 16.12.2014. The petitioner prays that there may be a direction to dispose of the review petition as expeditiously as possible within a time frame fixed by this Court.
4. In the light of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and in the light of the manner in which the original petition is proposed to be disposed of, it is felt that notice to the respondent is unnecessary.
This petition is disposed of directing the court below to take up the I.A.No. 2364/2014 in I.A.No.2996/2012 in O.S.No. 173/2012 on 16.12.2014 and dispose of the same at the earliest, at any rate, within a period of two weeks from 16.12.2014.
