Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The sole submission of counsel for the petitioner is to direct the District Judge, Ghaziabad to decide the Election Petition No.7/2017 (Savita vs. Smt. Nisha Singh and others) which is pending since 2017.
In view of aforesaid, the petition is disposed of by directing the District Judge, Ghaziabad to decide the Election Petition No.7/2017 (Savita vs. Smt. Nisha Singh and others) expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order, strictly in accordance with law.
It is clarified that this Court has not adjudicated upon the merits of the claim as raised by the petitioner in the present petition.
