Supplementary affidavit filed today is taken on record.
Petitioners have retired from the employment of respondent University on different dates, from different posts. Their grievance is that though they are entitled to release of leave encashment in terms of Government Order dated 3rd July, 2000 and a claim in that regard has also been raised but the authorities are yet to release the amount due and payable in that regard.
Sri Amrednra Pratap Singh appearing for the respondent University states that grievance of the petitioners would be examined in accordance with law.
In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to accord consideration to the petitioners' claim for release of leave encashment in accordance with law by passing an appropriate order. The amount which is found payable in terms of the aforesaid orders, shall be released within a period of two months, from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him, failing which the petitioners would also be entitled to interest in terms of the applicable government orders.
