Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned AGA and perused the impugned F.I.R, as well as material brought on record.
The relief sought in this petition is for quashing of the F.I.R, dated 21.10.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 1174 of 2018, under sections 420,380,411 IPC and 66 C & D Information and Technology Act P.S. Chakeri District Kanpur Nagar.
Matter relates to a heinous offence involving hacking of the ATM machine while carrying out a transaction and the contention of learned counsel for the petitioner that name of the petitioner cropped up in the confessional statement of the co-accused Ritesh could not be a ground to quash the F.I.R, as cognizable offence is disclosed.
The writ petition is dismissed.
