Heard learned counsel for the petitioners; the learned A.G.A. for the respondents 1 and 2; and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 24.12.2018 registered as Case Crime No. 659 of 2018 at P.S. Kokhraj, District Kaushambi, under Sections 419, 420 I.P.C. and section 6 of U.P. Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 1992 and section 10 of Examination Act, 1982.
The allegation in the first information report is with regard to giving LLB IIIrd year Semester Examination through an imposter. The petitioners are examinees but on their behalf impostors were appearing who were caught red-handed in a raid. The FIR thus names the examinees as well as the impostors who were caught.
As the allegations are very serious, no case to quash the first information report or to interfere with the investigation is made out.
The petition is dismissed.
