Heard counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for State authorities.
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant yearly increment to the petitioners from 2006 to 2010, along with arrears, in view of G.O. dated 21.1.2016. The petitioners have already moved a representation in this respect.
The writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before Deputy Inspector General of Police (Establishment), U.P. Police Headquarter, Allahabad, along with a certified copy of this order, within two weeks. In case such a representation is filed, then it shall be decided, in accordance with law, within six weeks thereafter.
