Hon'ble Munishwar Nath Bhandari,Acting Chief Justice Hon'ble Jayant Banerji,J.
Heard counsel for the petitioners.
The writ petition has been filed to seek appropriate direction for resumption of offline mode of education in the State of U.P.
Paragraph 6 of the petition make a reference about the wards of the petitioners pursuing studies at different levels. In reference to the aforesaid, prayer is made for offline studies on the pretext that online studies is not effective and irrespective of any threat of third wave of the prevailing pandemic COVID-19, the State Government should be directed to resume offline mode of education. The direction aforesaid has been sought on a policy matter to be decided by the State without narration of fact that any of the State in entire country has allowed offline mode of education in the circumstances prevailing therein. For this, news clippings have been enclosed to show the proposal of some State but there is nothing on record to show offline mode of education in any of the State and otherwise it lies in the domain of the State for which would not entered or cause a direction to have offline mode of education. It is more so, this petition seems to be based on personal interest than public.
Looking to the details of the wards of the petitioners pursuing studies at different levels, the petition is totally misconceived and is accordingly dismissed.
