Petitioner alleges that his tractor was insured and though it was stolen yet the Insurance Company has not reimbursed the amount claimed. A dispute in that regard appears to have been raised by the petitioner, which is pending before the District Consumer Redressal Forum, Prayagraj. Grievance is that though a period of ten years have expired but the proceedings have not been concluded so far.
Proceedings before the forum are summary in nature and are liable to be decided expeditiously.
In that view of the matter, this petition is disposed off with a direction upon the third respondent to make all endeavors to conclude the proceedings either on the next date fixed or by fixing short dates, without granting unnecessary adjournments but not beyond a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
