Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Piyush Shukla, the learned Standing Counsel for the State- respondents.
Upon the Court expressing its disinclination to interfere with the order of suspension bearing in mind the seriousness of charges which stand levelled and which include the petitioner being derelict in the discharge of duties as an Observer at an Examination Center, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for directions being issued for expeditious conclusion of the disciplinary proceedings which have been initiated.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Disciplinary Authority submits that subject to the cooperation of the petitioner and not taking any unnecessary adjournments, all endeavour shall be made to conclude the disciplinary proceedings with expedition and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits or otherwise of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in view of the statement made and noted above.
