Heard Sri K. R. Singh, learned Standing Counsel and perused the material on record in particular the order dated 27.9.2007. From the perusal of the said order, it is apparent that the claim of the applicant stands satisfied upon the payment of Rs.4,15,593/-. However, as this Court had directed the Principal Secretary to make an inquiry and to find out the officials responsible for the action not taken and causing delay in the payment of arrears and accordingly fix the liability for recovering the said amount from the said officials. It has been stated by Sri K. R. Singh that in subsequent affidavit filed on 4th January, 2008 it has been brought on record that an inquiry has already been instituted and the matter is pending. The inquiry and recovery from the guilty officials would be an internal matter of the department.
This contempt application does not require any further consideration.
It is accordingly consigned to record.
