Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Additional Government Advocate.

Under challenge in the instant writ petition is FIR relating to Case Crime No. 1109 of 2010, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 452, 504 & 506 IPC, police station Kotwali Ayodhya, district Faizabad. We have gone through the FIR as well as cross-FIR. There is cross-FIR which goes to show that the incident has taken place in which several persons from both the sides have sustained injuries. Since the FIR discloses commission of cognizable offence, the same cannot be quashed.

The writ petition is misconceived and is accordingly dismissed. Order Date :- 24.6.2010 Pradeep/-
