Prayer for bail has been made on behalf of the appellants, who have been convicted by Additional Sessions Judge Court No.2, Pilibhit in S.T. No.339 of 2009 under Sections 498 A, 304-B I.P.C and 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act.
Heard learned counsel for the appellants and the learned A.G. A. for the State and perused the lower court's record.
Learned counsel for the appellants submitted that maximum sentences awarded to the appellants are five years.
Learned A.G.A opposed the prayer for bail.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in my opinion the appellants are entitled to be released on bail.
Pending appeal appellant Satnam Singh and Jagraj Singh are convicted in S.T. No. 339 of 2009 shall be released on bail on their executing a personal bonds and on furnishing two sureties each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the court concerned.
Till further orders realization of fine, if any, shall also remain stayed.
