Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
This writ petition is by the defendant in a declaratory suit and thereby he seeks directions for the expeditious disposal of the suit, itself.
Although, prima facie, the urgency if any, in the matter has to be for the person who has filed the suit and not that of the defendants therein, especially when there is no averment that any interim order is operating this suit.
However, this writ petition is disposed of with the observation that the court concerned may endeavour to decide the suit wherein the petitioner is a defendant, as expeditiously, as possible Order Date :- 18.12.2019 RKM
