JUDGMENT / ORDER

After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw this Contempt Petition with a liberty to workout his remedy in the light of the order dated 27.04.2017 made in W.P.No.10563 of 2017. 2 The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the appointment of the petitioner as Record Clerk by way of Compassionate Ground appointment is against the Tamilnadu General Subordinate Special Rules. The Post of Record Clerk can be given only by way of permission or by direct recruitment in the ratio of 4:1. M.SATHYANARAYANAN ,J ., sk 3 In respect of the said submissions, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the order has also been put to challenge in W.P.No.10563 of 2017 and it has been set aside and therefore, he only seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Contempt Petition with liberty to workout his remedy. He has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect. 4 This Court has considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed before it. 5 In the light of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Contempt Petition is closed and the liberty sought for by the petitioner is granted. 07.06.2017 sk To Mr.Prakash Vel, The District Adi Dravidar Welfare officer, Villupuram District, Villupuram.
