After some arguments, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks the permission of this Court to withdraw this Contempt Petition with a liberty to workout his remedy in the light of the order dated 27.04.2017 made in W.P.No.10563 of 2017. 2 The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that the appointment of the petitioner as Record Clerk by way of Compassionate Ground appointment is against the Tamilnadu General Subordinate Special Rules. The Post of Record Clerk can be given only by way of permission or by direct recruitment in the ratio of 4:1. M.SATHYANARAYANAN ,J ., sk 3 In respect of the said submissions, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the order has also been put to challenge in W.P.No.10563 of 2017 and it has been set aside and therefore, he only seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Contempt Petition with liberty to workout his remedy.
