Heard Sri Ravi Chandra Srivastava, learned counsel for the applicants and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for deciding the case in terms of compromise in Criminal Case No. 43687 of 2016, pending before the Court of 1st ACJ(SD), subsequently transfer to Court of ACJ 2nd(Jr.Div.) Kanpur Nagar, bearing Case Crime No. 88 of 2014, under Sections- 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and u/s 3(1)(X) S.C./S.T. Act, Police Station- Narwal, District- Kanpur Nagar.
Joint affidavit of the applicant no. 1 and opposite party no. 2 has been filed, in which it is stated that the matter had already been settled amicably between the parties outside the court.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party admitted the said fact and submitted that the matter had already been compromised and he does not want to continue the present proceedings.
In view of the above, the aforesaid proceedings are hereby quashed.
The application stands allowed.
