Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
In pursuance of the direction of this Court dated 20.07.2018, a supplementary affidavit has been filed categorically stating therein that the petitioner has no prior criminal history.
In para 4, the petitioner has clearly mentioned that there is no criminal history nor the petitioner has ever involved/convicted in any criminal case by any Court of law.
In view of the aforesaid averments contained in the supplementary affidavit, this Court deems proper to direct the District Magistrate, Allahabad to consider the petitioner's application for issuance of arm license, said to be pending since 21.08.2017. The said decision be taken in accordance with law by the competent authority within one month from the date of a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
The writ petition is disposed of.
