1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. This contempt petition has been filed for alleged violation/disobedience of the judgment and order dated 27.10.2017 passed by the writ-Court in Writ Petition No.13057 (M/B) of 2017.
The aforesaid judgment and order dated 27.10.2017, on reproduction, reads as under:-
"Mr. Laxmi Sewak, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the writ petition and seeks liberty to the petitioner to approach the concerned authority, seeking exchange of his land with Gram Sabha/Government land having same valuation.
The petition is disposed of as not pressed with liberty as prayed. If the petitioner makes an application, as aforementioned, the concerned authority may consider and deal with the same in accordance with law expeditiously."
3. It appears that the petitioner filed Case No.2/15-16 under Section 161 of the U.P. Z.A. & L.R. Act .
4. The aforesaid case was decided by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Lalganj, Raebareli vide order dated 16.05.2016 whereby the Gaon Sabha Resolution dated 15.04.2013, giving the petitioner land in lieu of some land, which was allegedly used by the Gaon Sabha, was rejected.
5. The petitioner should have challenged the aforesaid order dated 16.05.2016 and instead of doing so, he has filed the present contempt petition.
6. Pursuant to issuance of contempt notice, an affidavit of compliance of Mr. Jeet Lal, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Lalganj, Raebareli has been filed, which is on record.
Along with the aforesaid compliance affidavit, copy of order dated 14.08.2019 has been placed on record, by means of which the order dated 16.05.2016 has been maintained.

In view of the aforesaid, this contempt petition does not survive and the same is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate proceeding(s) if he is not satisfied from the order dated 16.05.2016 and order dated 14.08.2019 passed by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Lalganj, Raebareli in RST/00034/2018 (Computerized Case No.T201810580400034.
Contempt notice stands discharged.
