JUDGMENT / ORDER

Manjula Chellur,CJ
Heard learned counsel for petitioner. We have gone through the contents of writ petition.
2. Admittedly, petitioner is a tenant under respondents 3 to 6. So far as civil litigation, party respondents filed a suit for evicting petitioner from the building which was decreed. Subsequently, petitioner approached this Court and this Court granted stay of judgment and decree of the trial court.
3. According to petitioner, respondents 3 to 6 demolished the wall of the building in order to see that he vacates premises. He alleges that valuable machineries are installed in the building and petitioner intends to reconstruct the wall in order to avoid damage to other portion of the building and also to safeguard machineries. Hence he needs police protection.
W.P.(C) No.14761 of 2014 2
4. We fail to understand, how police protection could be granted for reconstruction of a wall of the building, especially when eviction proceedings are under challenge before this Court. If already he has obtained an order of stay, it is always open to him to approach the very same court from where stay is granted. If there is demolition at the instance of party respondents, as claimed by him, he can also seek permission from the said court where the judgment and decree are challenged to reconstruct the wall. We cannot entertain the present petition for the reasons mentioned above.
Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
MANJULA CHELLUR, CHIEF JUSTICE
P.R.RAMACHANDRA MENON,
JUDGE.
