JUDGMENT / ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent college to admit the petitioner S.Arvind Raj in the first year MBBS course for the academic year 2014-2015.
2. Today, when the writ petition is taken up for hearing, leanred counsel for the third respondent pointed out that the prayer made in the writ petition had become infructuous as the petitioner is seeking for admission in the first year MBBS course for the academic year 2014-2015.
3. In view of the above, this writ petition is closed as nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
